University of New Mexico Research Incubator Building (R.I.B.)
29,000 sq ft two-story research incubator building, located on the University main campus. The program called to create wet lab space to support the College of Pharmacy and School of Medicine, and to provide surge space for programs being displaced by the construction of the new Health Sciences Education Building. Designed w/ standard steel-framed bay sizes & raised floors to distribute HVAC, data, telecom, power and plumbing. Because of the modular building construction, lab sizes and configurations can be easily modified to adapt to a variety of users.
